Delegation Overview

Prerequisites

• Concordium Wallet (Mobile or Desktop)
• CCD tokens to stake

Delegation to Mobile Wallet

1. Setup and Fund Mobile Wallet

1. Go to Concordium Downloads and download the wallet that supports your operating system. Follow the guidance in the app to create your account.
2. Fund your wallet with CCDs.

2. Delegate to NORTHSTAKE's node

1. Open the Mobille Wallet app and go to the accounts Dashboard
2. Tape the balance ares of the account you wish to delegate from or press More
3. Tap the hamburger menu in the left corner and press Delegation

‍

4. Read the information pages and press Next until you can register your delegation

5. Enter NORTHSTAKE's Baker ID: 82826 and press Continue
6. Enter the amount of CCD you wish to delegate and decide whether you want to automatically add your delegation rewards to your delegated amount

7. Review information in the Transaction Overview and press Submit delegation transaction
8. Once the transaction is submitted you see a confirmation screen. Tap Finish to register the delegation

Once the transaction is finalized, the delegation is effective within a short period of time. You can see the delegation in the account list and on the account card.

Delegation to Desktop Extension Wallet

1. Setup and Fund Desktop Wallet

1. Go to Concordium Wallets and download the browser extension wallet. Follow the guidance to create your account.
2. Fund your wallet with CCDs.

2. Delegate to NORTHSTAKE's node

1. Open the Browser Extension Wallet and press the hand in the bottom menu

‍

2. Tap Setup delegation and read the information pages and press Next until you can register your delegation
3. Enter NORTHSTAKE's Baker ID: 82826 and press Continue

4. Enter the amount of CCD you wish to delegate and decide whether you want to automatically add your delegation rewards to your delegated amount

5. Review the information in the Transaction Overview and press Send

6. Once the transaction is submitted you see a confirmation screen. Click Finish to complete the action.

Once the transaction is finalized, the delegation is effective from the next payday. You can see the delegation type and amount on the account card

Your CCD tokens are now actively staking, and you will begin earning rewards while contributing to the network’s security.
