About Northstake

Hans Henrik Hoffmeyer is Co-founder and COO of crypto payment service Coinify. With a career spanning over 30 years, Hoffmeyer has held various VP positions at industry-leading companies such as IBM, Oracle, Pandora, and Nets. His extensive expertise in the technology industry has made him a valuable contributor to the development of innovative payment solutions.

Kirstine Damkjær is a CFA® charterholder and holds a master's degree in political science from Aarhus University. She has received further education from Stanford, IMD, INSEAD, and CBS. Previously, she served as CEO of EKF Denmark's Export Credit and has over 26 years of professional experience as a leader in the financial sector, including nearly 20 years abroad. During this time, she worked at institutions such as the International Finance Corporation, IFC Asset Management Company, and World Bank Pension Plan and Endowments in the United States. Kirstine serves on several boards in Denmark, the UK, and Africa.

Claus Nielsen is a seasoned financial executive with a wealth of expertise in the banking industry. He boasts over 30 years of experience, during which he held the position of Head of Markets for Saxo Bank and was a member of the executive management group from 2008 to 2018. Nielsen's extensive knowledge and leadership have made him a valuable advisor to Northstake.

Payam is General Counsel and lawyer with Samar Law. He is highly specialized on all legal aspects relating to cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and ether. He has established a broad international network, a vast amount of experience, and an in-depth blockchain industry knowledge. Payam also serves as a member  of the Board of Trustees, the Dai Foundation (MakerDao).

Richard Breiter is Co-founder and General Partner in the Danish VC fund, PSV Tech01, a part of the renowned, early-stage venture house, PreSeed Ventures. With more than 10 years within VC investing and a background in engineering, he has been through thick and thin with a large number of tech startups – among others Coinify within the crypto space. Breiter’s hands-on experience and know-how in scaling companies makes him a strong fit for Northstake and our future journey.

Michael Jackson is an experienced advisor in the crypto ecosystem. Jackson currently serves as director at Fabric Ventures, and has previously served as board member at Blockchain.com and was an early member of the Bitcoin Foundation. In addition, Jackson sits on the board of large, systemically regulated companies such as AXA Insurance, Volvo Cars and Luminor Bank.

Mark Højgaard is an accomplished advisor to Northstake with a successful track record as an entrepreneur in the payments and financial technology industry. As the co-founder and CEO of Coinify, he has played a key role in the development of innovative payment solutions. In recognition of his expertise, Højgaard is a member of the Forbes Finance Council, where he provides insights into the financial industry.

Kavita Gupta is the Founder & GP of Delta Blockchain Fund, an early-stage blockchain infra fund with over $120M AUM. She has over 18 years of investment experience via The World Bank, IFC, Eric Schmidt Family Office, etc. Kavita started one of the first Blockchain early-stage funds, Consensys Ventures and Tachyon Accelerator, and invested first checks into sector-defining companies like Polygon, Starkware, Quantstamp, and Sorare, to name over 100 companies. She is a visiting scholar at Stanford University and instructs Beyond Bitcoin class. She is a recipient of the UN innovation award for being one of the core members of 1st Green bonds and Social impact bonds.
