Northstake Launches Staking Vault Manager for Lido V3 stVaults
Northstake is proud to announce the launch of our Staking Vault Manager. The SVM integrates Lido V3 stVaults into our institutional staking stack, empowering regulated asset owners with compliant, liquid, and scalable Ethereum staking infrastructure.
A New Era for Institutional Staking
Staking Ethereum at institutional scale requires more than yield. It demands asset segregation, compliance, operational transparency, and seamless integration with existing treasury and governance systems. Traditional staking solutions have often forced institutions to choose between operational control and liquidity, creating friction for regulated entities that must meet rigorous reporting, custody, and governance requirements.
To address these challenges, Northstake has built the Staking Vault Manager — a unified platform that combines regulatory-ready staking operations with access to the liquidity and composability of stETH through Lido V3’s vault architecture.
What Lido V3 StVaults Bring to Northstake
At the heart of this integration are Lido V3 stVaults — modular staking primitives that allow institutions to stake ETH natively across multiple vaults and chosen node operators while optionally maintaining liquidity via stETH.
Key benefits delivered through this collaboration include:
- Compliant Liquidity Access: Institutions can mint stETH against assets held in dedicated vaults, maintaining optional liquidity alongside staked ETH.
- Seamless DeFi Adoption: With broad support for stETH and wstETH across the Ethereum DeFi ecosystem, institutional liquidity can be deployed efficiently while continuing to earn staking rewards.
- Robust Security Foundations: By leveraging Lido’s battle-tested protocol design and decentralised validator set, Northstake ensures that institutional staking operations are underpinned by an institutional-grade security model.
A Unified and Compliant Staking Workflow
Northstake’s Staking Vault Manager brings stVaults into a single point of access where institutions can:
- Orchestrate node operations across multiple professional operators,
- Execute staking and liquidity management via a unified UI, API, or SDK,
- Maintain strict asset segregation aligned with internal compliance frameworks,
- Access detailed reward and transaction data for auditability and reporting.
This integration abstracts away the complexity of interacting directly with protocol mechanics, enabling institutional teams to focus on capital allocation and governance rather than low-level operational overhead.
Bridging Compliance and Capital Efficiency
By integrating Lido V3’s stVault infrastructure into our platform, Northstake enables institutional stakers to meet regulatory and operational requirements without sacrificing liquidity or capital efficiency. Institutions can now operate segregated staking setups that retain access to stETH liquidity, Ethereum’s DeFi ecosystem, and broader composability — all within a compliant, auditable environment.
This marks a significant step forward in enterprise-ready liquid staking, and underscores Northstake’s commitment to delivering institutional-grade solutions that bridge the gap between decentralized staking primitives and regulated financial workflows.

About Lido Institutional
Lido Institutional represents a dedicated group of contributors focused on advocating for the use of Lido protocol’s open-source, liquid staking middleware by non-retail users. Lido middleware provides a way to participate in the blockchain network validation process and get staking rewards for this activity. With a mission to democratize staking, Lido middleware lets users connect with node operators and stake their digital assets without the need to individually maintain hardware.
